The story of 4 strangers who find themselves stranded in Singapore, two days before Christmas, and how each of them finds companionship with one another, over a plate of carrot cake and a conversation.

Clayton Gibb, long damned for the selling of his mortal soul for musical success in turn of the century America, is betting the Devil (aka Jerry) in a double or nothing fashion. The bet: Gibb will live a second life and achieve what he sold his soul for the first time around without the aid of the Devil. The catch: The Devil gets to define 'musical success' and has set the stakes impossibly high. The prize: If Gibb can succeed, he will be free from the Devil's clutches. (If he fails, he will not only continue to be servant to Jerry... he will be eligible for the most vile, brutal and eternal kind of servitude.) God (aka Penny) wants to help Gibb win the bet because, in her opinion, no creature should be eternally damned... and she just loves ruining the Devil's plans. In order for Gibb to return to plain one he must engage in reincarnation. This is, of course, a symbiotic process. Gibb will have to co-habitate with a new soul originally intended to pilot the body he will be sent back ...

VR Put on the extended reality headset for a unique experience ushering in a new renaissance: the search for yourself in a world where physical and digital realities merge. An XR performance at the intersection of performing arts, classical music and extended reality, suitable for a group of forty people. Renaissance sounds and a singer’s voice draw you into a court dance where music, movement, and technology fuse together. As the virtual world unfolds around you, the audience connects both with themselves and with one another. In this hybrid setting, Conversations explores how personal experience relates to collective experience, and how encounters can lead to a deeper understanding of identity and presence. All of this set to the sounds of Belle qui tiens ma vie by Thoinot Arbeau. This Renaissance-era music takes on a contemporary dimension within an immersive environment where layers of time, realities and perspectives converge, carrying a clear religious undertone and a pointed question: are we obedient sheep, or do we dare choose our own path?
